At VEXRIONEU, SL (accessible via [https://vexrioneu.com]), we ensure that all cameras, optical lenses, camcorders, and photographic accessories sold through our platform are 100% genuine, brand-new, and backed by comprehensive statutory warranty protection.
This Warranty Policy details your coverage rights, technical scope, exclusions, and claims handling procedures in accordance with Spanish Consumer Law (Real Decreto-ley 1/2007 & RDL 7/2021) and European Union consumer standards.
1. Statutory 3-Year Legal Warranty (Garantía Legal)
In accordance with Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 7/2021, all new products purchased from VEXRIONEU, SL for delivery within Spain and across the European Union carry a mandatory 3-year statutory legal warranty starting from the date of physical delivery.
-
Warranty Period: 36 months (3 years) from the date of delivery confirmed by courier signature.
-
Coverage Scope: Covers non-conformity defects, internal component failures, optical flaws, and manufacturing faults that occur under normal, intended operating conditions.
-
Proof of Purchase: Your official store tax invoice (specifying product model and unique serial number) serves as your official proof of warranty. Please retain your invoice for the full 3-year period.
2. What Is Covered Under Warranty
The statutory warranty protects you against internal mechanical, electronic, and optical defects resulting from factory manufacturing faults, including:
-
Camera Bodies: Sensor defects, shutter mechanism failure, main circuit board/power board faults, internal autofocus sensor errors, and viewfinder/LCD screen electronic failures not caused by external impact.
-
Optical Lenses: Internal autofocus motor failures (Linear, Stepping, Ultrasonic, etc.), aperture blade jamming or electronic control errors, optical image stabilization (IS/VR/OSS) module defects, and factory element misalignments.
-
Camcorders & Video Gear: Mainboard processing errors, optical zoom drive failures, internal audio circuit faults, and recording interface failures.
-
In-Box Accessories: Original battery chargers, AC power adapters, and electronic flashes included in the retail box (covered against manufacturing defects).
3. Exclusions & Limitations
The statutory warranty does not cover damage caused by accidental mishandling, external environmental factors, unauthorized tampering, or normal wear and tear. Specific exclusions include:
-
Accidental & Physical Impact Damage: Drops, impacts, cracked outer casings, crushed lens barrels, cracked LCD monitors, or bent bayonet mounts.
-
Liquid, Moisture & Foreign Material Ingress: Water damage, internal corrosion, mold/fungus growth on glass elements, or sand, dirt, and dust contamination inside non-sealed equipment.
-
Improper Use & Power Issues: Operating gear outside manufacturer parameters, using unapproved third-party battery chargers or power banks, battery leakage damage, or improper storage.
-
Cosmetic Wear & Consumables: Normal cosmetic degradation, rubber grip expansion/peeling, exterior scratches, lens cap loss, and natural battery health degradation over time.
-
User Maintenance & Firmware: Sensor cleaning, internal dust removal, routine lens cleaning, or failed user-initiated firmware updates.
-
Unauthorized Servicing: Any disassembly, modification, or repair attempt performed by unauthorized third-party technicians automatically voids the remaining warranty.
-
Consequential Loss: VEXRIONEU, SL is not liable for indirect or commercial losses, including missed photo shoots, commercial event cancellations, lost media/footage, or rental costs resulting from equipment downtime.
